The mission of the Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship:
To be a continuing Beacon of Light in the Northwoods of Wisconsin through:
- Promoting understanding and mutual respect among everyone
- Promoting Unitarian Universalist principles and beliefs as an alternative to orthodox religions.
- Active involvement in social issues and problems.
- Promoting protection of the environment for the long-term benefit of everyone.
- Providing a place for worship and fellowship in the spirit of the Unitarian Universalist tradition.
- Accepting the responsibility for honoring and cherishing children and nurturing their characters through spiritual, moral and intellectual guidance and example.
Our Covenant:
The Covenant of the Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is:- To practice religion founded upon devotion to individual freedom of belief;
- To respect the dignity and equality of all people;
- To live in harmony with the natural world;
- And to foster liberal religious living through worship, study, service and fellowship.
